Thanu Suddhi, the Ayurveda Clinic in Kochi, is established with the noble intention of applying the divine, incredible and proven curative power of Ayurveda in its purest form for the betterment of ailing patients. In Sanskrit Thanu means ‘body’ and Suddhi means ‘cleanliness’. Hence, the name as well as the core philosophy of the Clinic is to ‘Cleanse the Body’ for a rejuvenated life.

Our Founder and back bone ,Dr. K.V. Sheeba who has a rich experience of 30 plus years is passionate about doing her best for her patient’s well-being. After completing BAMS from the Govt. Ayurveda college of Tripunithura in 1985, she joined the government service and has worked in different locations across Kerala & other states . She has also worked in Santhigiri Ayurveda and Sidda Vaidyashala, Thriuvanathapuram ,at their various Panchakarma Centres& hospitals . Through her diverse experience , she witnessed the fact that Ayurveda has the potential to cure most of the mental and physical issues and this understanding gave her the confidence to treat acute & chronic diseases & disorders effectively . Today,through Thanusuddhi ,Dr.Sheeba’s strong faith in Ayurveda helps her to focus ,in the process of providing comprehensive well-being to all the patients.

Sushruta mentions three conditions to denote good health. When the three Doshas or Energies which control the body namely Vatah, Pithah and Kabha are in a balanced state. When the digestive fire of the body is active and the tissues and bodily wastes disposal work in a normal way. Then the sensory, motor organs and mind, is in a pleasant state. A person who satisfies these three conditions is considered to be healthy.

The thickness of blood results in improper blood flow and this slows down the metabolism .
